Zaatar Spiced Lamb Chops with Mint Yogurt Sauce

Spice up your dinner with these deliciously seasoned lamb chops, complemented by a refreshing mint yogurt sauce. This dish is sure to impress with its bold flavors and aromatic spices.

Ingredients

  • 4 lamb chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons zaatar seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, zaatar, salt, pepper, and minced garlic. Rub this mixture all over the lamb chops and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. While the lamb is marinating, prepare the mint yogurt sauce. In a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt, chopped mint, lemon juice, and honey. Stir well and refrigerate until ready to use.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the lamb chops for about 4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  5. Remove the lamb chops from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. Serve the lamb chops with the mint yogurt sauce on the side.
