Spicy Honey Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry

Looking for a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner? This Spicy Honey Garlic Shrimp Stir-Fry packs a punch with its sweet and spicy sauce, bringing together a delicious combination of shrimp and colorful veggies, perfect for serving over rice or noodles.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and minced garlic. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  4. Return the shrimp to the pan and pour the honey garlic sauce over everything.
  5. Toss to coat the shrimp and vegetables evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Stir in the sesame oil and green onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve hot over rice or noodles.
