Cigar Review for Arturo Fuento Opus X Forbidden City 13 Natural Wrapper
My Review
Amazing construction, draw, smoke production. From the very first draw I am getting some very nice complex flavors. The smoke really coats the mouth. I'm pairing with this with a Lagavulin 16.
Hard to pinpoint the notes of this as they are pretty unique. Dried fruit? There a kind of roasted nut taste that is very prominent. Getting something close to a citrus note, but much more mellow and smooth.
About a third into it, the flavors are remaining pretty consistent. They have mellowed out a bit, but still full of flavor. Creaminess, leather, dried fruit, a touch of leather. Very complex. Really enjoying this so far, one of the best sticks I've had in a while.
about halfway through, some of the darker notes are becoming more prominent. Some coco is coming through now. Very nice.
At the end, the flavors are still complex and delicious. I highly recommend this, the price was around $40, which I think is worth it.
