DailyList is developed by Cygnus X Enterprises LLC. This Privacy Policy applies to DailyList for Android and iOS.
Information stored locally
DailyList stores your lists, tasks and their completion status, preferences, colors, and saved lists locally on your device. DailyList does not require an account, and this list content is not intentionally transmitted to our servers.
On Android, Android backup and device-transfer features may copy locally stored information to your Android backup provider or another device. Those backups are controlled by Android and your device or Google Account settings.
Advertising and third-party services
The free version of DailyList displays advertising using Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. DailyList also uses Google's User Messaging Platform to gather and manage advertising consent where required. The Android and iOS versions may use different advertising and consent configurations.
Depending on the platform, your region, your consent choices, and the advertising configuration, Google and its advertising partners may process:
- Approximate or coarse location derived from information such as your IP address
- Device identifiers, including advertising identifiers when permission allows
- Advertising data, including advertisements viewed or interacted with
- Product-interaction and app-usage information
- Crash, performance, and other diagnostic information
These types of information may be used for third-party advertising, advertising measurement, analytics, fraud prevention, app functionality, and performance improvement. Depending on your location and consent selections, advertisements may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited.
For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and advertising information.
Advertising on iOS
DailyList does not request permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not intentionally access Apple's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). DailyList requests non-personalized or limited advertising on iOS.
Ads may still use contextual information, such as general app context and approximate location derived from your IP address. Google may still process limited device information, advertising interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and fraud-prevention information. Non-personalized advertising does not mean that no information is processed.
Consent and privacy choices
Where required, you can review or change your Google advertising-consent choices from DailyList's Options screen using Privacy options. The availability of this option depends on your region and Google's consent requirements.
On Android, DailyList uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and record privacy choices where required. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process your IP address, app interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and advertising, app-set, or related device identifiers. DailyList uses internet and network-state access to load advertisements and privacy messages. It does not request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, phone calls, photos, files, or precise location.
Purchases
DailyList may offer a one-time purchase that removes advertisements. Purchases are processed by the applicable app store. Cygnus X does not receive your full payment-card or banking information. The store may provide purchase status and related transaction identifiers so the app can confirm and restore a purchase.
Data retention and deletion
Locally stored list data remains on your device until you remove it. You can delete tasks and saved lists through the app, or remove all locally stored DailyList data by uninstalling the app. Android users can also clear the app's storage in Android Settings.
DailyList does not create an account or intentionally keep a server copy of your list content. Information handled independently by Google, including advertising and consent-related information, is governed by Google's policies and controls.
Children's privacy
DailyList is a general-purpose productivity application and is not specifically directed to children under 13.
Security
DailyList stores list information in the application's private local storage. Information transmitted by Google's advertising and consent services is encrypted in transit according to Google's documentation. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
International processing
Google and its advertising partners may process information in countries other than the country where you live. That processing is subject to Google's privacy policies and applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when DailyList's features, advertising systems, purchases, or data practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision.
