Instructions

1. Chill your butter in the freezer for 10-20 minutes
2. Preheat oven to 425F
3. line a cookie sheet with nonstick parchment paper
4. Add 2 cups flour to bowl
5. add 1 tablespoon baking powder
6. add one table sugar
7. add one teaspoon of salt
8. Mix
9. user cheese grater to grate 6 tablespoons of butter into bowl
10. mixture should look like course crumbs
11. add 3/4 cup whole milk
12. Mix with wooden spoon or spatula
13. Once the dough is cohesive, fold in half over itself and use your hands to gently flatten layers together. Rotate the dough 90 degrees and fold in half again, repeating this step 5-6 times but taking care to not overwork the dough.
14. make dough 1 inch thick and cut out with biscuit cutter
15. bake for 12 minutes
