French Onion Soup
Ingredients
- beef stock/beef stock bones
- onion
- garlic
- 2 bay leaves
- swiss cheese
- french bread
Instructions
1. use mandolin on onion
2. caramalize onions in pot with butter
3. chop and add garlic
4. add beef broth
5. add bay leaves
6. bring to a simmer and cook for 30 minutes
7. pre-heat oven to 450 using broiler
8. add salt and pepper
9. toast/grill french bread
10. add to bowl with french bread and swiss
11. cook in oven for 10 minutes
