Miso Cream Pasta
Ingredients
- linguine
- butter
- mushrooms
- heavy cream
- white miso paste
- parmesan cheese
- black pepper
Instructions
1. Boil salted water for pasta
2. Cook 8 oz linguine until al dente
3. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining
4. Heat 1 tbsp butter in pan over medium heat
5. Add 1 cup sliced mushrooms and sauté until browned
6. Pour in 3/4 cup heavy cream
7. Add 1 tbsp white miso paste and whisk until dissolved
8. Add 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
9. Add 1/2 tsp black pepper
10. Simmer sauce for 2-3 minutes
11. Add drained pasta to the sauce
12. Toss pasta with sauce
13. Add splash of reserved pasta water if needed
14. Serve warm
