Fried Polenta
Ingredients
Instructions
1. Boil water with salt in a pot.
2. Whisk in the polenta and cook until thickened.
3. Stir in butter and parmesan to enrich the mixture.
4. Spread hot polenta into a shallow dish about half an inch thick.
5. Refrigerate until firm enough to cut.
6. Slice the chilled polenta into the desired shapes.
7. Heat oil in a pan over medium high.
8. Fry polenta pieces on both sides until crisp and golden.
9. Season with salt and serve with your choice of sauce or toppings.
