Mozzarella Chicken in Tomato Sauce

1. Make Tomato Sauce
2. Preheat oven to 375°
3. Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and basil.
4. Pound chicken and add breadcrumbs
5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown.
6. Pour marinara sauce over the chicken, then sprinkle Parmesan on top.
7. Cover with shredded mozzarella and bake for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
8. Garnish with fresh basil and serve hot with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
