Keyboard Link Navigation Brings Mouse-Free Browsing to Chrome

A lightweight Chrome extension lets users find and open links or buttons by typing what they are looking for.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 29, 2026

Keyboard Link Navigation is now available on the Chrome Web Store, giving Chrome users a faster way to move through websites without reaching for a mouse.

The extension is designed for people who prefer keyboard-driven workflows, including developers, power users, and anyone looking to reduce repetitive mouse movement. On a webpage, users press `/`, type the visible text of a link or button, and press Enter to open it.

Rather than memorizing a long list of site-specific shortcuts, Keyboard Link Navigation works with the words already displayed on the page. This makes it useful for navigating articles, dashboards, web apps, settings pages, and other link-heavy sites.

“Browsing should not require constantly switching between the keyboard and mouse,” said a spokesperson for Keyboard Link Navigation. “The extension gives people a simple, direct way to move through the web using the information already in front of them.”

Keyboard Link Navigation is available free from the Chrome Web Store:
