Cigar Review for Yagua

⭐ Rating: 8 | 📅 Added: May 6, 2026

My Review

Very unique flavors, it seems like there's about six or seven individual notes coming through.

I'm getting fruit and leather and wood. Good.

Overall, this cigar has some of the most interesting and unique flavors you're going to find anywhere. I highly recommend it, although it's hard to get.

Tasting Notes / Extracted Info

The Yagua cigar, produced by the J.C. Newman Cigar Company, is known for its unique presentation and flavor profile. Below is the information that can be displayed on your website:

**Yagua Cigar Information**

- **Flavor Profile:**
- The Yagua cigar offers a complex and rich flavor profile. It is characterized by earthy notes with hints of sweetness, nuts, and spices. Smokers often describe flavors such as cedar, cocoa, and a slight fruitiness throughout the smoking experience.

- **Tobacco Type:**
- **Wrapper:** The Yagua uses a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, which contributes to its rich and slightly sweet flavor.
- **Binder and Filler:** The binder and filler tobaccos are both from the Estelí region in Nicaragua, known for producing strong and flavorful tobacco.

- Its rustic, artisanal appearance appeals to aficionados who enjoy traditionally-crafted cigars.

- **Background:**
- The cigar is inspired by an old Cuban tradition. It was named after the Spanish term "yagua," which refers to the palm leaf used to bundle the cigars.

This presentation and craftsmanship make the Yagua a sought-after experience for both novice and seasoned cigar enthusiasts.
