This is one of the simplest extensions possible. All it does is lets you hit alt c (or some other key) and it takes the current tab your on in Chrome and moves it to a new maximized window. There was another plugin that did almost exactly the same thing but there was no way to make the new window automatically be in the maximized state so I wrote this one.
It's very convenient if you prefer to navigate by keyboard. Using alt-tab to switch between windows can be way more convenient and clicking back and forth with the mouse, or hitting Ctrl + Tab and Shift + Ctrl + Tab to switch back and forth between tabs.
