Google has started rolling out Gemini 4 Argon in the Gemini app, expanding who can use its newest frontier model.
The update matters because it moves Argon from model announcement territory into a consumer product with real reach. Google says AI Pro and Ultra subscribers can use the model now, and it adds a stronger path from chat to action through a task-oriented mode.
Google also highlights better reasoning, less hedging, stronger coding, and tighter integration with Google Antigravity, its agentic coding interface. For creators and developers, the practical takeaway is that Gemini is becoming a more usable orchestration layer across apps, rather than only a chat model.
The company says Gemini can connect to more than 40 apps, which makes this release especially relevant for workflow automation, app-building, and consumer agent experiments. If you build on Google’s stack, this is a material capability shift.
