Cigar Review for Penn Standard 8-year

⭐ Rating: 7 | 📅 Added: September 23, 2025

My Review

Doesn't start off a lot of flavor but none of them about a third and I'm starting to detect some of the complexity.

It's got some wood, some vanilla? It's a bit of lighter flavor than I would have expected for the color of the wrapper but very appealing so far.

Tasting Notes / Extracted Info

This cigar is from the "Twin Engine" brand, as indicated by the prominent text. The label mentions it's "Aged 8 Years" and highlights the "Big Beast of Broadleaf," suggesting that it uses Pennsylvania Broadleaf tobacco. It also notes the tobacco is from Nicaragua.

For flavor, broadleaf tobacco is typically known for its full-bodied profile, often featuring notes of earth, spice, and natural sweetness. The aging process might add smoothness and complexity to the flavor profile.

For more detailed information, it would be best to refer to the manufacturer’s description or reviews online.
